Andrea Esposito

Andrea Espo­sito (Rimini, 1981) star­ted very young to draw and to repro­duce the works of the Ita­lian Rena­is­sance and Baro­que masters whilst stu­dy­ing at the Isti­tutosta­tale d’Arte, Como. In 2001 he enrol­led at the Aca­demy of Fine Arts of Bolo­gna where he stu­died oil pain­ting. His rese­arch ledhim even clo­ser to clas­si­cal pain­ting, from the Rena­is­sance masters to the gre­atest works by Euro­pean Roman­ti­cism, focu­sing in par­ti­cu­lar on Guido Reni, Cara­vag­gio, Cagnacci, Bouguereau, Alma Tadema and Water­ho­use. Since 2000 he has sho­wed in solo and col­lec­tive exhi­bi­tions in Italy and abroad. Since 2017 he lives and works in Rimini.
